The jewel carries and spreads a message to all people – a message to feel and move forward.
Moving from where they are currently, to new and unknown paths.
I believe that the eternal truth lies in the phrase “Accept Uncertainty”, which comes to us during our lifetime.
I was born into a family business and grew up surrounded by jewelry. Jewels have always been an important part of my life.
My name is Shani, the mother of Shira and Alon.
The birth of Shira, my eldest daughter, opened up something inside of me.
In the course of living my everyday life, I realized that the true meaning of life centers in our inner belief – in ourselves.
I consider myself a happy, strong, and practical person, with “both feet planted firmly in the ground”, However, at a certain point I realized that something in me needed to change and move forward, both in me as an individual and in the world in general.. I felt that my only way to grow is by changing and moving forward to new and unknown paths.
I am often asked that question.
After having a dialogue with the authors of the document – The answer was: “to move forward”.
Where to, I wondered? – “you need to feel it, in your heart – your soul – your intuition”.
Staying still not only prevents us from progressing in a forward manner, but it also creates anxiety, insecurity and a sense of dependency.
I believe that we are not born to depend on people, materials or substances…
In a world that glorifies material and science, where soul is a four-letter word, Accept Uncertainty invites us to feel again.
Most of us were taught to repress our emotions, and to believe that too much emotion is unhealthy, weak, scary, childish, etc…
Our feelings are silenced, and our fears are obscured by all kinds of distractions: responsibilities of work and school, technology, toys, and too much of everything.
Coming from a secular, almost atheist background – faith and spirituality were foreign to me.
Within this document, I discovered the spirit and found faith, not necessarily religion. I was exposed to the eternal presence of Uncertainty and started to Accept it as a part of my life.
This fascinating document reinforced what I have always known deep down –most things in life are beyond my control. However, I do have control over myself and the path that I choose.
In order to live life to the fullest, one can and should dare to step out of one’s comfort zone, take responsibility, “pay the price”, and believe in the path as well as in oneself.
Once you embrace these principles and make them a part of your life, you are filled with hope, and things simply begin to move forward and fall into place – it’s just like magic!
Reading this document made me realize that someone else is speaking my “language”, understands me and knows how I feel – that gave me hope…
I have witnessed how uncertainty is brought to us time and time again, in religion, history, songs, books and more… I can quote multiple bible verses – “nothing new under the sun” or “everything is meaningless”. The list is endless.
I believe that the phrase “Accept Uncertainty” is another version of this eternal truth, brought to us in this era. From the moment that this truth hit me, everything fell into place like a puzzle. It was only natural for me to create jewels that carry and spread the message – Accept Uncertainty.
I feel and know in my heart that wearing the message will help each and every one of us to believe and Accept Uncertainty, a process that will enable a wide and strong range of acts. It will make us all feel again and help us move forward.
I have decided to devote myself spread the message by creating these jewels and help people around the globe to Accept Uncertainty, fulfill them and become whole again.
Succeeding in spreading this message will make me more than happy.
I feel I have been given a gift that I would like to share with the world, whether by reading the document or by wearing the jewel. Each and every one of us can choose what is best for oneself.
The jewels are presented here, to remind us of the strength that lies within each and every one of us.
My wish is that my jewels will provide faith and courage to choose, give hope to whomever longs for the strength to change and find one’s path.
